This policy explains what data Symmetra collects when you use symmscript.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Symmetra is in public beta; we keep data collection to what the site genuinely needs to function. If anything here is unclear, reach us through the Support page.

1. Who we are

"Symmetra", "we", "us" refers to the team operating the symmscript.com website and the Symmetra runtime. This policy covers the website only. Engine software you download runs locally on your own hardware and does not transmit data back to us except where you explicitly submit it (for example, attaching logs to a support ticket).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or ad personalization (these signals are disabled in our analytics configuration).

The website runs on Google Firebase (Hosting, Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage) and uses Google Analytics 4. Your data is processed and stored on Google's infrastructure subject to Google's security and data-processing terms. We access it only to operate the site, respond to support tickets, and moderate community content.

We share data only with the infrastructure providers that run the site (Google Firebase and Google Analytics, as described above), and where required by law. Public discussion posts are, by their nature, visible to anyone who visits the site. We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

We keep account, download, and ticket data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide support. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention settings. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

9. Children

Symmetra is a developer tool not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

As Symmetra is in active beta, this policy may change. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
